Dr. Yan Gao, Associate professor, Doctoral supervisor.

Yan Gao was born in May 1977, Changchun City, Jinlin Province, China. He got his bachelor degree in 2000, application chemistry major in DUT; And he got his PhD in 2007, application chemistry major in DUT; Then he worked in Stockholm University as a postdoctoral fellow in organic chemical department from May 2007 to July 2009. After that, he came back to DUT as a lecturer until Dec. 2014, and then he got an associate professor position.
Yan Gao is working on artificial photosynthesis, development of new catalysts for water oxidation and carbon dioxide reduction; Researching in the mechanism of O-O bond formation; Assembly of molecular devices for electrochemical and photoelectrochemical water splitting and carbon dioxide reduction. Based on these research contents, he has published more than 40 papers (cited>900) in the high level international journals from 2013, such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Catal., ChemSusChem, and so on.
